An exhibition of Paintings by Rik Peel.

As an artist who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome I have always had some trouble understanding how people communicate; I struggle day to day with the question of what actually is happening behind the eyes of the various people whom I meet.

I am both terrified and fascinated by social interaction

It is precisely this dichotomy which drives me to create art.

This exhibition charts that interest.
